COURSE DETAILS

6-Day CEREC Training Course / 4-Day CEREC Advance Course

Two hands-on courses in chairside CAD/CAM ceramic restoration, structured by depth of content rather than a fixed public calendar.

WHICH COURSE

Choosing between the two courses

The 6-Day course is a full introduction to chairside CAD/CAM; the 4-Day course assumes you already have working CEREC experience.

6-Day CEREC Training Course

  • For dentists new to chairside CAD/CAM restoration
  • Covers the full workflow: optical impression, virtual design, milling, adhesive luting, occlusal adjustment
  • Includes hands-on practice at each stage
  • Certificate of completion issued

4-Day CEREC Advance Course

  • For dentists with existing CEREC experience
  • Focused on refining specific techniques — for example, anterior aesthetics or more complex case design
  • Case-based discussion, using participants' own cases where possible

FORMAT

How the course is run

Instruction alternates between short lectures, live demonstration, and hands-on practice, in small groups at Kazama Dental Clinic.

  1. Lecture

A short session on the principle being covered — for example, the physics of optical impression, or the mechanics of adhesive luting.

  2. Demonstration

The instructor demonstrates the technique on the clinic's own CEREC equipment.

  3. Hands-on practice

Each participant practises the same step, with individual feedback.

  4. Case discussion

Where relevant, participants' own cases are discussed as a group.
